A major focus for Paul Mengert, AMG (Association Management Group) founder and current CEO, is to make sure that his homeowners’ association management company provides homeowners’ association with the best training possible. AMG offers a compact version of a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program and the classes are taught by alumni of the prestigious Harvard Business School, who live in his community of Greensboro, North Carolina. Paul Mengert’s choice of Greensboro as the company’s base represents his commitment to the community where he has spent virtually his entire life.

Many of the instructors for these classes are company executives, including managing partners, presidents, and CEOs. That’s because Paul feels that experience is the best teacher. Paul Mengert established AMG in 1984 is because he wanted to give back to the community. That can be done by personally volunteering to help, or through business activity or perhaps a little of both. He has since become a highly regarded leader in the homeowners’ association management industry. While that reputation is strongest in the Carolinas, his reputation is national in scope.
